If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand?
2 Kings 10:15
And when he was departed thence, he lighted on Jehonadab the son of Rechab coming to meet him: and he saluted him, and said to him, Is thine heart right, as my heart is with thy heart? And Jehonadab answered, It is. If it be, give me thine hand. And he gave him his hand; and he took him up to him into the chariot. lighted on: Heb. found saluted: Heb. blessed
And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other. hardness: or, blindness
Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.
And he said, What pledge shall I give thee? And she said, Thy signet, and thy bracelets, and thy staff that is in thine hand. And he gave it her, and came in unto her, and she conceived by him.
And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.
It is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: for he that feareth God shall come forth of them all.
He shall deliver the island of the innocent: and it is delivered by the pureness of thine hands. He shall...: or, The innocent shall deliver the island
And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.
Then said they to him again, What did he to thee? how opened he thine eyes?
