thorn. (1.) A descendant of Judah. 1-Chr 4:8, 1-Chr 4: "Coz;" R.V., "Hakkoz."
(2.) A priest, the head of the seventh division of the priests (Ezra 2:61; Neh. 3:4, Neh. 3: 21;7:63). In 1-Chr 24:10 the word has the article prefixed, and it is taken as a part of the word "Hakkoz."
